Sound good? Then get in touch and say “hello” and come down and join us for a training session – new members are ALWAYS welcome! Just email firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of our Committee will get back to you ASAP.
For the 2017 season, we’ll be training on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in Railway Union Hockey Club, Park Avenue, Sandymount, Dublin 4. Our training pitch is easily reached by public transport: Sandymount DART station is a only a ten minute walk away, and the area is well served by various Dublin Bus routes. (Hittheroad.ie is a very handy public transport planner!)
The first training session of the season will take place on Thursday 4th May 2017 at 7:30pm and training will run throughout the summer, culminating with a trip to compete in the Amsterdam PinkHockey Fest 2017 in Amsterdam from August 9th – 13st. This trip is, of course, optional, but check out the tales of past tours in our ABOUT section and tell us that doesn’t sound like fun?!
A membership fee of €85 will apply to anyone joining Pink Ladies Hockey Club – this is to cover coaching, pitch rental, and equipment costs for the duration of the season. It’s no problem to try before you buy, and come along to join us for one Thursday evening training session absolutely free of charge!
(Please note that all potential Pink Ladies must be over 18 years of age.)
When I first joined, I knew no one and could barely even hold a hockey stick – but straight away though I was made to feel welcome and part of the team, and I quickly realised I’d met some lifelong friends!Jennifer Hayde
Friendships that go beyond the mutual love of hockey… plus empowerment, kindness, fun, inspiration, equality, belonging, happiness, craic, love, respect – it’s hard to articulate ALL the feelings I have for the Pink Ladies, it means that much to me!Orla Ryan
